Day 1 :

Delhi arrival :

Welcome by our representatives and transfer to hotel. Check in hotel. Overnight Delhi.

Day 2 :
Delhi :

Sightseeing of historical places like JantarMantar, LalQuilla, and QutubMinar, Humayuns’ Tomb, Rajghat, Lotus temple. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3 :

Delhi / Dharamsala :

After breakfast proceed to Dharamsala. Check in Hotel. Overnight Dharamsala.

Day 4 :

Dharamsala :

After breakfast: visits to Dalai Lama’s Palace and Tsuglakhang Buddhist Temple; Norbulingka Institute which houses the world-famous Tibetan Thangka paintings and carvings. Overnight Dharmasala.

Day 5 :

Dharamsala :

Trips to ChinmayaTapovan, ChamundaMandir, and Palampur Tea Estate outside McLeod Gunj..Evening explore McLeod Gunj market with its bustling road-side businesses. Overnight Dharamsala.

Day 6 :

Dharamsala/Mandi :

Morning proceed to Mandi. 6hrs drive from Dharamsala (125 kms).Check in a hotel or resort. Rest of day at own disposal. Overnight stay in Mandi.

Day 7 :

Mandi :

Mandi is located at the lower end of the Beas valley. Mandi is renowned for its 81 old stone temples and their enormous range of fine carvings. The town also has the remains of old palaces and notable examples of ‘colonial’ architecture.

After breakfast: Sightseeing in and around Mandi. Visit Bhootnath Temple: Practically synonymous with Mandi and located in its very heart, this is as old as the town itself and dates back to the 1520s. For example Symakali Temple was built in the 17th century.

Prashar Lake (2730 m): 40 km north of Mandi is this beautiful lake with a three storied pagoda-like temple dedicated to the sage Prashar.

Rewalsar:

Located on a mountain spur; an hour’s drive from Mandi brings you to this dark jewel-like lake. With water, woodland and high hills, it presents visions of natural beauty. The spot is sacred to Hindus, Buddhists and Sikhs. Overnight Mandi.

Day 8 :

Mandi/Delhi :

Journey back to Delhi.460 kms. Drive straight to airport for onward journey.
