Itinerary Code ( BBT-III)
Day 01 :
On arrival at Delhi.
Company representatives will receive. From there you will be directly taken to the hotel.You will be picked up from your hotel and proceed for a full-day tour of Old Delhi – Visit historic places like Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and Red Fort. In New Delhi – Visit ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, India Gate, Parliament House and the President’s Residence and would end at the Diplomatic Enclave. Overnight will be at Delhi.
Day 02 :
Varanasi
Transfer to airport for flight to Varanasi.There our company officials will come and receive you from the airport of Varanasi & you will drive to DaswamedhaGhat. There you will be given a boat to ride on river Ganga. You can walk through the streets, next to the banks of Ganga.You will have your Breakfast at the hotel. From there you move on for a half day tour of Varanasi which will include the KashiVishwanatha Temple, Gyanvapi Mosque, Banaras Hindu University and other important monuments. You will spend the night at Varanasi.
Day 03 :
Varanasi & Sarnath.
Breakfast at Hotel. you will be driven for a Sarnath.Sarnath is a major Buddhist pilgrimage located 10-km northeast of Varanasi.where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon. Here he revealed the eight fold path that leads to the attainment of inner peace, enlighten and ultimate Nirvana.Return to Varanasi. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 :
Varanasi – Bodhgaya.
Having the breakfast then driven to Bodhagay. After reaching there take a full day rest or you can Sighteeing tour of Bodhgaya.Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 :
Bodhgaya.
Morning half day city tour of Bodhgaya. Visit to Mahabodhi Temple and Niranjana river. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight at hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 06 :
Bodhgaya.
Morning half day city tour of Bodhgaya. Visit to Mahabodhi Temple and Niranjana river. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight at hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 07 :
Bodhgaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Patna.
Leave Bodhgaya for Patna (229 kms / 6-7 Hrs) en-route visiting Rajgir & Nalanda. Patna is 2500 year old capital city of Bihar. Rajgir was capital of 6th century Magadha Empire and was revered site of Buddha’s discourses. Buddha spent many years here. Nalanda is world’s oldest university founded in the 5th century. Overnight at hotel in Patna.
Day 08 :
Patna – Vaishali – Kushinagar.
Morning leave Patna for Kushinagar en-route visiting Vaishali -located 60 kms from Patna and holds special significance for Buddhist devotees. Kushinagar is the place where Buddha passed into Maha-Parinirvana. Afternoon visit Kushinagar the various stupas and temples. Overnigh at hotel.
Day 09 :
Kushinagar – Lumbini.
Leave Kushinagar by road for Lumbini the birthplace of Buddha and is located just a few kilometres inside Nepal. Sightseeing tour of Lumbini. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 :
Lumbini – Sravasti.
After breakfast proceed for sravashenroute visit kapilvastu – the ancient capital of the mighty S}ikyacia. On arrival at sravasti, check in at the Hotel. Rest of the day free for religious activities. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 11 :
Sravasti – Lucknow.
After breakfast at hotel, enjoy a sightseeing of Sravasti visiting Maheth and Saheth. Thereafter, we proceed to Lucknow . Arrive at Lucknow and check into the hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 12 :
Lucknow – Sankasya – Agra.
Morning – sightseeing tour of Lucknow, the city of the Nawabs and Begums. The places to visit are BeraImambara, ChotaImambara and the Amina Bazaar. Then drive to Agra,enrouteSankasia. SANKASYA. BUDDHA’S ASCENT TO AND DESCENT FROM THE TRAYASTRIMSAS HEAVEN AND OTHER LEGENDS.Continue drive to Agra.Reach Agra. Check in to the Hotel. Overnight Hotel in Agra.
Day 14 :
Bhopal – Sanchi
In the Morning visit Bhimbetkaenroute to see the neolithic cave paintings, and Bhojpur where you visit the incomplete Shiva and Jain temples. Then en-route for sanchi, the ancient city of Buddhist culture and learning. You visit the museum and the great Stupa which represents Buddhist art at its peak of perfection Your overnight stay is at Hotel Bhopal.
Day 15 :
Arrival Aurangabad – Elora – Mumbai.
OR
Visit Elora and later fly to Delhi / Mumbai.
On arrival at Aurangabad.Breakfast will be at the hotel.Proceed for a visit to the Ellora Caves-Impressive in their own right is the rock-hewn temples and monasteries of Ellora that lie just 30 km away from Aurangabad city. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 16 :
Next Morning take a flight for Delhi/ Mumbai.
Visit to next destinations.
